John Francis Mark King, 92, of New Carrolton, MD died Saturday, September 21, 2013. Born in New York and raised in Connecticut he was the son of the late George King and Agnes Cecelia Devaney and beloved husband of the late Mildred Helen King who died in 1993.
He is survived by children Jeffrey Stuart King (Patricia Harden), Kelli D. King and William Everett King (Susan), sister Dorothy Kane, grandchildren Ashley Dyan Clevenger (Ryan), Amelia Marie King, Amanda Stuart King, Michael John Basford (Stefanie), Samantha Frances King, Nathaniel Rand King, great grandchildren Michael Thomas Basford, Mikaela Jackson Basford and Madison Riley Clevenger.
He was predeceased by sisters Agnes Arnow, Sarah Fitzgerald, Eleanor Clute and brother George King.
The family will receive friends at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd. Bowie, MD, Sunday , September 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
