John was my mentor in sales and always encouraged me to be more creative and positive. He was a one of a kind guy who was a true professional. I happened to be looking him up on Google because I remembered how much of a positive influence he had on my life. RIP brother and my best to Deanna.

John and I worked together at Tate BMW in Annapolis, he filled our days with humor and joy for life.  I will always remember him for the laughs we had together and the great stories he shared with me.  I am sure the angels in heaven are glad to have you there to make them smile, will Miss you...

You know he's enjoying heaven because I never knew anyone who embraced and enjoyed life more!  It was a pleasure, a privilege and honor to call this very special man, friend.  His loyalty and love to his family and friends knew no bounds. He will be tremendously missed and remembered always with a smile and love because he gave them so freely.  May God bless and keep John close (if he can keep from laughing at his numerous stories) and may He bring comfort to his beautiful family. The Jennings family send their sincere condolences to Deanne, Melissa, John Jr, Andrew and Evie.  We knew John through our respective daughters' friendship at Bowie High - Melissa and Lauren.  And John sold Lauren her very first car - which was an exciting moment in her life!  Thanks for sharing the photos - John's pride and love for his family was clearly evident in each shot!  May John rest in peace!

So, many great memories flooding back to my mind. I was very young, but John treated me like one of his own. I remember I would tease him about his 'perfect' hair.... A wonderfully good person, soul that will be greatly missed here on earth, and greatly appreciated and welcomed in the loving arms of God!

My prayers go out to all of you. John was a very good friend to me, as were all of you. When I was much younger. I will never forget John, I will always keep all of you in my thoughts & prayers. God Bless you all!

John was my first Sales Manager at WU.
He was incredibly positive and a true go getter in the business. I admired his never give up attitude, his laugh and his smile.  I learned a lot from John during my 2 stints at WU and will never forget "page 2" of his sales talks and funny stories.  He was a tremendous man and even though it has been a long time since I talked with him, I will miss him as a dear friend and mentor.  He will make em laugh in heaven.

I don't think I ever saw John have a bad day, you were one of the most upbeat people I knew.  You will be greatlty missed, I will always remember you, god bless you and your family.

I worked with John at WU in the 70's and he always was UPBEAT and made everyone feel happy.  What a great personality he had.  I pray for him to be happy in heaven and I pray for his family to be strong and be sustained by all their fantasic memories which I am sure will be talked about for years to come. No one in this world could have ever had a better uncle,I know that for a fact. So many fond memories.  I will miss him forever.

John was truly one of a kind. Always positive and happy. I have never met a prouder man. I loved getting his emails with pictures of his granddaughter. Such a proud granddad! Always had a smile. I am a lucky man for having been able to know John! I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

John was always the vision of postive attitude and enthusiasm  Just look at his beaming face (second from left) among all our other boring mug shots...way back in his telecom sales days at Western Union.  He was friend and mentor to everyone, striving everyday to help others and to make them love him. His stories and his pranks were his calling card and no matter how crazy he could make people, they loved him all the same.  His best stories were of Deanna, Melissa and John and Uncle Jim proving everyday what a devoted husband, father and brother he was.  They say only the good die young...well that's just it, John was perhaps just too good.  We will all miss him so much.
