Carmen "Lina" Johns passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Lina was the mother of Ruby Weber, Kay Morris, Mary Signor, Robert Johns and Raymond Johns; grandmother of Jeffrey, Justin, Katelyn and Margaret (Maggie) Carmen and the late Michael Hoyt, Jr.; great-grandmother of Blake and Haleigh. Lina was preceded in death by her parents Emanuela and Antonia Ellul and her brother and sisters Vincenza, Antonia, Stefano and Giuseppe. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service and committal will be held 11 am, March 30, 2016 at the Chapel at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, Maryland 21035.
