Richard was an animal lover, and when given the chance would always reach out to pet and hug the animal. He enjoyed spending time in an around the water, later when he was unable to walk on the beach, he would sit in the car and watch the waves. Richard also enjoyed going out to enjoy a meal with family and caregivers.
Richard never met anyone who wasn't soon a friend, he was kind hearted to all.
Richard is survived by his mother; Barbara Currier (Bob Reed), sister; Deborah Blake of Florida, and brothers; Daniel Wright of Idaho, and James Wright of Florida.
Richard was father preceded in death by his father Roger Lee Wright, and sister Rebecca Wright.
