On Monday May 23, 2016 God called home one of his angels. Beloved wife of the late Nick Giovenco. Daughter of the late Frank and Laura Luciani. She is one of eight children and survived by her sister Elsie Fallica and brother Bob Lucian. Rita spent many years of her life in sunny California and returned home to DC to take care of her beloved mother. Rita found her final retirement home in Odenton, MD where she quickly became the social butterfly of the community. She enjoyed her exercise classes, BINGO nights, and a glass of wine or shot of her home-made Lemeoncello with her neighbors, family, and friends. Always the Italian host offering a meal to anyone and all who entered her home. Rita will be greatly missed and always remain in our thoughts and prayers.
