Auntie Connie, I am so thankful to have had you in my life and share wonderful moments together. You are such an inspiration to me in so many ways and I admired so many things about you especially your faith. I enjoyed our similarities - from our love of dancing to our interest in crafts, food and being silly. I will never forget the warm times we had as a family, which you made even more memorable with choreographed dances and costumes. Thank you for bringing our families closer and reminding us to cherish one another. I promise to keep them dancing, and that I will always dance my heart out! Auntie Connnie,I sincerely thank you for everything that you have done for not only myself, but our entire family. Your strength and love will not be forgotten. Eulogy

Good afternoon everyone.

Today we are gathered here for funeral and honor of our sister Rosella popularly known as Connie. Connie is the youngest among the girls in the family. she was born on Dec. 8, the feast of Immaculate Concepcion that is why she was named Rosella Concepcion.Among the siblings she was the most artistic and fun loving person.
She was very independent and always probing to us that she can stand on her own. When she bought her condominium she invited me to see her house and I was amazed how pretty she decorated it.The curtains and dining sets were custom made and everything were color coordinated. I am sure anyone who saw her house would admire what she did as well as her beautiful china collections.
She fought her disease harder and more courageous than anyone I have ever known. She never complain about it and goes to work as is nothing is happening to her. She will have chemotherapy on Fridays and will go to work the following Monday. On her last radiation treatment, she will go to work in the morning and have he radiation at noontime. And in the afternoon if she feels weak from the radiation treatment, Armi and Boy will pick her and her car.They did this for 15 days. That is over now. God has his own special plan for her. We are confident that Connie is now with our creator. In fact when we were praying the rosary and Divine Mercy around her bed, she was praying along with us.When it was time to do the sign of the cross, she slowly move her right hand to her chest to make the sign of the Cross. After that she took her last breath.
Connie loved life and lived each day to the fullest. Her life is not always a walk in the park but her coping mechanism were just remarkable. In her younger days she played basketball and bowling. She is a very good dancer and choreographed dances and party presentations specially during family celebrations. She was tireless as when she worked with the Embassy of Malaysia for 28 years. Family is the most important to her and her friends. She makes beautiful flower arrangements and always ready to help others.
Let us all remember Connie as a loving, caring and fun loving person and we are all here to celebrate her Life.
Connie you will be in our hearts forever.

Connie, last time I saw you was three years ago..you were all smiles. I am sad  of your early departure here on earth, but I am glad that you will see in heaven my classmate Bienvenido, Mommy Amparing,  Daddy Pio and Father God Himself. We will live eternally in the heavens with Christ.

I was very saddened to learn of Connie's passing. My sincere condolences at this great loss for your family.   Connie was a terrific person who gave her smile freely.   Several years ago she, myself and others were in a loose confederation of like minded people who loved dancng, great music, good food, cheer and fellowship.
We would meet often at the ballrooms and dance till closing.  She had a lovely style.  

She hosted karyoki parties for us and was a warm and gracious host.  I shall miss her and pray for her and for your family.

We will terribly miss you our dear Sister Connie.  I still can remember, everytime we see each other and you say - "Komosta ka Manong Noe?"  Well, you are in the much better place, with OUR LORD, OUR MAKER in Heaven who now lovingly welcomes you.
