Thais Virgil White & Claudette Hester White

Claudette White and Thais White of Bowie, MD sadly passed away within months of each other. Inseparable since meeting in high school, their longtime love story came to an end on this earth on November 25th, 2024 when Claudette transitioned after a long fight with stage 4 breast cancer. Thais soon followed his bride on April 11th, 2026 from stage 4 kidney disease and complications from frontotemporal dementia.

Claudette, 3 days shy of her 66th birthday, was born on November 28th, 1958 to Eddie and Ira Mae Hester in Washinton, DC.

Thais, age 68, was born on January 25th, 1958 to Allen, Sr. and Excelene White in Washington, DC.

They were devoted parents of Jennifer Watson and Christopher White, mother and father-in-law of Gregory Watson Jr., and loving grandparents of Raven Watson and Gregory Watson III of Baltimore.

The couple is also survived by Thais’ siblings Allen P. White, Jr. and Sherone Joyner; their dear sisters-in-law Nellie White, Sandra Cureton, and Martha Galarneau; nieces Lisa, Kyana, Adrianna, Lauren, Paige, and Ashley; nephews Aaron and Dominique; grand-nieces Auryana and Selina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Although they will be missed by those they have left behind, we are comforted with the knowledge that they’ve been reunited in Heaven.

A visitation will be held at Cornerstone Church, 16010 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD 20715, US, on May 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at Cornerstone Church on May 4, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Please plan to leave the church by no later than 1:30 PM on Monday to be at the cemetery on time for the Graveside Service.

A committal service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224, on May 4, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
