

Will is survived by his children, Dawn, Robert (Terri), Christopher (Jessica) and Terri (Sonny); his grandchildren Logan, Tyler, Harley, Megan, Makenize, Shelly, Mickey, Jason, Chris, William and Kenneth, his new generation of great grandchildren, along with his love of many years Carol Tupper.
He is predeceased by his sons, Daniel Joseph, Matthew John and Michael Mark.
Will was born in Massachusetts on March 9, 1938 to Wilfred Romeo and Maria Beatrice “Rita” Charest. On July 26, 1958 he married Sandra Jeanne Farrell. They were married for over 26 years, had six children, divorced in 1986 but remained close.
Will was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He enjoyed working in his yard, being creative, he had a wonderful sense of humor, often called “the Charest sense of humor”. He was always ready to help those in need, a great listener, offering words of wisdom and a problem-solver. He was a spiritual man, recently giving his life to Christ. He was passionately devoted and involved with AA for over 36 years, always carrying the message, a mentor to many and a friend to all. He will be deeply, deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home 16000 Annapolis Road Bowie MD 20715 on Friday February 11th from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 am on Saturday February 12th at Robert E. Evans Funeral home. Burial to follow directly at Lakemont Memorial Gardens 900 West Central Ave Davidsonville, MD 21035.
