Mary Jane Doster-Gates of Cheektowaga, NY and Estero, FL. Passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2026. Beloved wife of Duane P. Gates; loving mother of Nicole Moore; adored sister of Rosemarie Fleckenstein; survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. Mary served in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 on Saturday, February 7th at The Grapevine Banquet, 333 Dick Rd., Depew, where a Celebration of Life will be held immediately after till 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The United States Coast Guard Foundation that help the families of Coast Guard members.
