Born in Washington Twp. He was a son of the late Florence (Eshbach) and Warren Dierolf.
He was employed as a Coremaker for both the Eastern foundry and the Norco Foundry working for 35 years retiring in 1982.
Ammon was a member of Good Shepard UCC, Boyertown and a life member of the Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire co. and the Gilbertsville Fire Co.
He is survived by his son, Ronald L. husband of Barbara J. Dierolf of Emmaus. Grandsons, Jeffrey A. husband of Sandra Dierolf of American Canyon, CA. and Brian K. husband of Theresa Dierolf of Coopersburg. His siblings, Kerlin E. Dierolf, Helen Penketh, Pauline Christman and Gloria Christman all of Gilbertsville. Ammon is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Alycia, Brittany, Courtney, Tyler, Morgan, Benjamin and Loren.
