Mrs. Anna M Mertz Dierolf

Born in Oley she was the last surviving child of nine, a daughter of the late Jacob C. and Mary B. (Youse) Mertz.

She was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ, Oley. Anna enjoyed swimming, gardening and baking. She was a long time supporter of the Legion Bears and loved spending time with her family.

She retired from the former Federal Mogul, Boyertown for 34 years (between 1956-1990) until her retirement.

Surviving with her husband is a son Barry G. Dierolf husband of Lindsay of Barto; three grandchildren, Brooke E. Lauman of Bally; Tanya A. Dierolf of Harrisburg and Kimberly P. Dierolf of Barto; two great-grandchildren, Katherine and Thomas Lauman of Bally

Funeral services are 11 a.m., Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Frieden’s United Church of Christ, 337 Main Street, Oley The Reverend Gary A. Halstead will officiate.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the church.

Burial will be 2 p.m. at Limerick Garden of Memories.
