Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William C and Helen “Marion” [Walton] Rafine.
Betty attended school in the Great Valley School District.
She married Howard A. Good in June of 1964.
Betty was a homemaker for the early part of her marriage and began working at Better Plastics in Malvern in the mid 70’s After that she became a housekeeper for a Phoenixville family for a few years. In the late 80’s she began driving School Van for Gross School Bus Service with Great Valley School District. She continued her career with Krapf School Bus when they acquired the contract. Betty retired in 2008.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Melissa Twisdale of Spring City, and her son William Good and his partner Desiree Detwiler also of Spring City. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Trivelpiece [Fred] of Mahoopany, as well as her grandchildren, Jennifer Twisdale-Serrano [Randy] of Boyertown, Amanda Austic [Max Reger] of East Greenville and Corryn Twisdale [Tyler Williams] of Gilbertsville, and Johanna Whiteford of Delaware. She has seven great-grandchildren Nevea Austic, Cecilia Serrano, Luis Serrano, Gerrit Austic 3rd, Zoey Twisdale-Hoehne, Annaliese Serrano, and Elaina Reger. Plus, many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, and In-Laws.
Betty is predeceased by not only her parents but her husband Howard “Arthur” Good, her son Howard A. Good II [Howie] and her brother William C Rafine Jr [Rafe].
Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512. on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
Reception following graveside services at Swedesburg Fire Hall 310 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
