Born on February 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Thelma (Rothenberger) and John Tim.
Carl was a veteran of the Air National Guard and the Reserve of the United States Air Force. He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber and later worked as a delivery driver for Longacre’s Dairy.
Carl was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boyertown, PA.
He was a member of the Boyertown Masonic Lodge and the Brothers of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Ford V8 Club, and an avid Ford enthusiast. He attended many local car shows including volunteering with Building a Better Boyertown’s car show.
Carl is survived by his wife; his son, John Tim, husband of Barbara; his daughters, Suzanne Hallowell, and Elizabeth, wife of the late Gary Rose; his five grandchildren, Jason Rose, husband of Krista, Sean and Amber Hallowell , Adam and Eric Tim; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Evan Rose.
Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
