Edward F. Tercha

Edward F. Tercha, 86, of North Church Street, Bally, PA died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 in his residence. Born in Long Swamp Township he was the son of the late John and Mary (Fryz) Tercha. He was a molder for March & Brownback, Pottstown for 20 years and later worked for Unicast, Boyertown for 30 years until his retirement. He was a private first class in the Marine Corp during WWII. Edward was a loving Father, Pappy, an avid Civil War Buff and his favorite place to visit was Gettysburg, PA. Edward was a great cook especially backing "cheesecake."

He is survived by a son, Michael D., husband of Lyn Tercha of Bethlehem; four daughters, Barbara Ansfree of Fogelsville, PA, Beverly R., widow of Dennis Stoudt of Bally and Collette J., wife of Robert Stitt of Bally and Renee J.A., wife of Roger Hendricks, Jr. of New Berlinville; a brother, Frank Tercha of Fogelsville; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyerotwn. Reverend Chris Stein will offiicate.
