Hazel E. Blank Shollenberger

Born in Red Hill she was the daughter of the late Earl B. and Flossie E. (Yerger) Blank.

She was a 1942 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a secretary for Boyertown School District, working at the Senior High School and Washington Elementary School retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown.

Hazel is survived by two sons, Dennis L., husband of Sharon (Lefever) Shollenberger of Boyertown and Scott A., husband of Barbara (Kakos) Shollenberger of Pottstown; a granddaughter, Jessica L., wife of Chris Keipper of Sicklerville, New Jersey. She was predeceased by a grandson, Nicholas Shollenberger and a brother, Brinton E. "Bud" Blank.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Sister Millicent J. Drake will officiate.

Relatives and friends will be received between 1:30 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
