

Born in Lower Bucks County, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Baines) Fetter and Thomas L. Tomilnson.
Mabel and George were married over 60 years and raised their family in the Perkiomenville Gilbertsville area. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always putting her family first. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting beautiful Afghans for her family. She worked at Kinsley Distillery for 8 years after her children were grown. She and George retired to their farm in Forksville, Sullivan County, PA. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a strong and devoted Christian, a member of Peace In Zion United Church of Christ, Zieglerville, PA and the United Methodist Church in Forksville, PA. Mabel’s greatest joy was her family, always attending birthdays, graduations, weddings and sporting events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mabel was a gentle kind person, who aged with quiet beauty and grace. She will be missed so very much by her loving family and friends.
Mabel is survived by a daughter, Sandra, wife of the late Walter D. Landis of Bechtelsville with whom she resided; sons, George, husband of Ellen Curry of New Berlinville and Donald, husband of Shelly Curry of Forksville, PA; grandchildren, Randall K. Curry of Williamsport, Laurie, wife of Russ Miller of Mohnton, Sharon, wife of Jeff Schofield of Hershey, Rebecca, wife of Dave Mazaika of Hamburg, Tina Curry- Logan, wife of Liz Logan of Austin, TX., Scott Curry of Royersford, Tom, husband of Helen Curry of Granville Summit, PA, Brian Curry of Harleysville, Jan, husband of Terry Acker of Bechtelsville, Steve, husband of Cathy Stofflet of Naples, Maine, Cindy, wife of Dave Woodley, Sr., of Barto, Susan Bertolette fiancée of Lance Frazier of Bechtelsville; Great-Grandchildren, Ben, Matt and Jake Miller, Aaron Curry, Sarah, Megan and Rebecca Schofield; Hunter, Easton and Hayley Curry, David, Jr., Doug, Dan and Dana Lynn Woodley; Patrick, Brody, Rachel Stofflet, Alyssa and Emma Acker, Amber, Corbin and Logan Bertolette; and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her infant daughter, Bonnie Lynn Curry; her siblings, Alice Buckman, Grace Yates, Anna A. Walker, Elizabeth Hunsberger, Mildred Schultz, Ruth Weinhold, Charles, Horace, Clarence and Harry Tomilnson.
Services to be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Peace In Zion United Church of Christ, 204 Big Road, Zieglerville, PA. 19492. Officiating will be Pastor Maryann Ronan-Lamson.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday between 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be Limerick Garden of Memories.
