
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mildred Rose was a daughter of the late Anna (Bakisae) and Harry Harkus.
She and her husband owned and operated a local grocery store in Pittsburgh, called the Stengle Superette. Later, she worked as a waitress at Stouffer’s Restaurant in Pittsburgh.
Mildred was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at 109 South 7th St. in Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
She is survived by her son, Paul David Stengle of Boyertown, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving her is a sister Bonnie Capcara of Lancaster, PA, and three Daughters in Law, Linda Stengle, Drita Stengle, and Ruth Stengle. Mildred was predeceased by her son, Edward Stengle, and her Twin Sons, Ronald and Donald Stengle.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
