Born in Philadelphia, PA he was a son of the late Claire (Spencer) and William Kern.
Bill was employed as a journeyman for Plumbers Union 690 and was active in both the Boyertown Corvette Club and the Pike Township Sportsmen's Association.
He is survived by his daughter Katelyn M. wife of Timothy M. McDevitt of Thorndale, PA, Grandson Owen M. McDevitt at home and his Siblings, Elaine Kern and Daniel Kern.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
