David was a devoted family man who found great joy in watching his sons play football and participate in the many sports they loved. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren, proudly supporting them in all they pursued. An avid golfer and enthusiastic card player, David also enjoyed trips to watch the horse races. He loved being outdoors, taking pride in maintaining his lawn and landscaping.
Known for his spirited nature, David enjoyed a good-hearted argument with family and friends. He was a devoted Indiana University fan and could often be found relaxing—sometimes even dozing off—while watching golf or NASCAR. Above all, David treasured time spent with those he loved most.
David graduated from Snider High School in 1972. He was a part owner and worked in sales at Complete Drives Incorporated. He spent most of his life in the Fort Wayne area before retiring to Florida in 2015.
