Surrounded by his loved ones, Allan passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at Brampton Civic Hospital in his 94th year.
Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine (Smith) for 39 wonderful years.
Loving father to Phil (Bonnie) and Diane (Ted), and much-loved stepfather to Colin Smith and Susan Starrett.
Allan is predeceased by his wife Margaret Ellen McKee (née McKeown), parents Bill and Elise McKee, Bob and Carolyn Lewis (sister), Willie and Marilyn Nielsen(sister), Ron (brother) and Fran McKee.
Allan will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
In honor of Allan's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A funeral service will take place Monday August 11, 2025, at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church, 290 Balmoral Dr, Brampton, with visitation at 11:00 a.m., funeral service at 12:00 noon, reception to follow.
A private interment will take place on Tuesday August 12, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Thornhill, On.
In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church or Knights Table Brampton where Allan had volunteered.
The family would also like to extend their appreciation to the compassionate Palliative Care Team of Doctors and Nurses at the William Osler Health System.
