Peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 in his 86th year. World War II Veteran with the RAF as an air gunner with 44 Rhodesia Squadron. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee O’Donnell). Dear brother-in-law to Eleanor and predeceased by his brothers Jim and Albert (Alice), and his sister Joyce (Tom). Loving father of David (Jane), Phil (Kate), Kirk(Kathy) and daughter Denise; 10 loving grandchildren and 8 wonderful great grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman and sportsman, Art loved playing hockey and golf and in his youth lacrosse. Hunting and fishing were his lifelong passions. Art will be sadly missed by his many extended family members and dear friends. Art’s family will be receiving family and friends at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Ave.) 905, 456-8190 on Tuesday, December 7, from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm, with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
