With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother Blandina DeSouza (Blu), wife of the late Gabriel DeSouza (Pakistan Navy), who peacefully passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 99.
A loving mother to Yvette (late Ron), Rodney (Uvenda), Rhona (Leslie), Rayna (Graeme), and Bosco (Tina). A cherished grandmother to Brian & Leena, Steven & Natalie, Kara, Lauren, Justin, Simon & Victoria, Katherine & Ru, Donny, Terri & Brady, and a proud great-grandmother to Savio, Remy, Harrison, Winnie, Chelsea, and Emma.
Mum was the eldest of 8 siblings and is survived by her sister Joyce Vydelingum(Dr. Louis). She was born in Bombay and moved to Karachi after getting married and worked as a part-time teacher at Jufelhurst School, Karachi. In 1987 Mum and Dad moved to Canada. Despite declining health in her final days, her faith remained strong. She will always be remembered for her deep devotion to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Brampton and her life of prayer.
