

Bob McColl, suddenly, and surrounded by family, on December 25th 2024 in Brampton, ON, at the age of 81. Born on June 7th 1943 in Hamilton, Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, partner, uncle, and also a friend to many.
Bob was known for his love of golf, woodworking and church. Within the Wasaga Beach United Church he was one of the regular leaders of the Men’s Breakfast and part of many volunteer projects. He also helped maintain the lawns of the church in the summer to keep everything in top condition. Bob played golf with many friends and family at a variety of courses over the many years. He cherished regularly playing at Orr Lake Golf Course on Mondays with his group of friends. Bob enjoyed watching many sports on the TV or in person, and supporting friends and family in any events they were a part of. Within Bob’s career, he worked as a Tool and Die Maker for GM. In his off hours, he loved woodworking, doing his home improvement projects and helping anyone who needed help with their renovations. Bob made a profound impact on the lives of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being in his life.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Memorial visitation will be at 12 noon, followed by a service at 1pm at Wasaga Beach United Church (380 Zoo Park Road S, Wasaga Beach, ON). Following the service, a reception will be held at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wasaga Beach United Church.
