I miss my beautiful Prayer Angel, Carole Falcao. She has inspired me for her awesome fighting spirit and prayerful life. Alas, this beautiful flower has been picked early for the Lord's garden! I will miss Carole.What an intelligent, talented woman, so many of us learned so much from her. I  greatly admired her quiet but strong faith illustrated by her service to others.

Carole we go back a long way, sharing our joys and sorrows. You worked hard and always trusted in God's help to overcome adversity. You set an excellent example for all of us. You will always be remembered. May you rest in peace.

Mrs. Faria (as I knew her back in the day) was a wonderful, kind, beloved teacher. She was my kindergarten teacher. As that year came to a close, I remember that I was sad because she would no longer be my teacher in the first grade. Then came the good news - she was moving up with us to first grade. Woohoo!! Again, at the end of first grade I was saddened that I would no longer have my beloved Mrs. Faria as a teacher the next year, and, wonder of wonders...she moved up to the second grade with us! How happy I was!! Alas, I couldn't understand why she couldn't move up with us to the third grade. After all, she knew us so well and was such a great teacher, what could be better? Even though my desire was not to be fulfilled a third time, she assured me that I would do great with the new teacher and that I could always come and talk to her if I needed to. So, you see, she's always had a very special place in my heart even though it's been many a year since our paths have crossed. It is my hope that when I, too, have finished the fight and have crossed the vale that we will get to reconnect in the presence of the Lord.

I have such fond memories of Carole as a teacher, mentor, friend, and artist. She was a beautiful, kind, and talented woman. I feel fortunate to have worked with her in the early years of my career as an educator. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

We know that your journey continues embraced in Peace, Love and Joy! You are now the strength for your family.

Dear Chris,

I am so very sorry to learn that your mother Carole passed away.  The last time I saw her was at Aunty Molly's 90th birthday party.  She looked very well and I thought she had beaten the cancer that took her so young.  She  was a very good dancer and joined Aunty Molly in the line dancing.  I never thought that that would be our final meeting.

She was very intelligent and had a very pretty, pretty face.  She will be deeply missed.

May God grant her eternal rest.

Carole, a gentle and beloved spirit, that will be missed!   Her parents and mine were great friends - I have wonderful memories of picnics in Karachi with Uncle Leo, Aunty Babs and family.  Carole was a fighter till the end and has gone home to her Lord and Saviour.

Carole was a wonderful person with such a zest for life and a naivety that made her charming. She trusted and loved everyone.  We had not seen each other for a while and then we met at my brother Joe's house and it was if time had never passed!  She struggled bravely and did not give up hope and that is why I now feel we should pray TO her as she is definitely in the arms of her Lord and Master.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Carole was a wonderful mother to her sons, a beloved sister and a great grandmother.  She was a beautiful lady and a wonderful cousin and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

In our sadness, I am still reminded that I am so proud to have been Carole's cousin.  She was a well-educated professional - an educator - and an accomplished artist.
