Predeceased by his beloved wife Mollie. Loving dad to Jackie (predeceased Keith) and Heather (Bill). Dear partner to Gloria. Cliff will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Cliff was born in Caerau South Wales, growing up in Neath with his parents and three sisters. His youth was filled with love and strong friendships.
As a young man, Cliff spent two years in the army as a Military Police Officer, mostly in North Africa and Malta. After leaving the army he attended Camarthan Training Center where he developed a passion for teaching. During a teaching career that spanned over thirty years, he touched the lives of many, and was loved and respected by students and colleagues.
In 1968, Cliff and his family immigrated to Canada, quickly embracing new opportunities and adventures. In 1970, the family moved to Brampton, where Cliff lived happily for over fifty years.
In his spare time, Cliff pursued his many active interests including camping, hiking, skiing, climbing and running. He was an adventurer and enjoyed sharing his zest for life with his family and friends. Cliff loved to travel and loved to keep active. He spent many summers in Leadville, Colorado completing the Leadville Trail 100 eight times.
Cliff was a kind man who saw goodness in everyone. He lit up a room when he entered, seeing the joy and beauty in everything. He enriched many lives and valued his many long-term friendships.
Cliff’s life was filled with love and laughter. He will be greatly missed.
