Dearest Doug big bro you are so very missed it’s nearly 10 years since you left us. We lost Mom Jan 2013 hopefully there is the next life and you have met up with Mom, Dad and Nana. Your nephew Steven was married in July 2017 you would love his wife Sam, he had saved a special bottle of booze you had given him and used it for his gathering after rehearsal  to send a cheers to you he misses you so very much. They blessed me with twin grandbabies, one of each Dec of 2019, baby boy Colton looks like his Daddy and baby girl Riley has a blend of both families they are beautiful. You would have had a kick out of being a great Uncle to twins! We always think of you and miss you so much.

Doug it is coming up on 8 years and everyday I think about you I miss my best buddy. Noreen, Chantel and Keirsten miss Uncle Doug as well.  I miss your advice personally and work advice as well, I miss your laugh, i miss your honesty and most of all just giving you a hug and hanging out as great friends should and we always did. I will be forever great full for what you brought to my life and my family's life you were one of the best. You made us all better people.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Silvia and Doug's family.  I heard the saddened news of the passing of Doug this morning (July 14th) as I had the privilege to work with Doug for 9.5 years.  I can assure that Doug was a very dedicated, hard working, smart, honest, experienced Estimator, and friendly.  May God comfort Silvia, and Doug's Family.

It is not because you are not with us any longer...but we can say only good things about you, how did you get adapted to the crazy uruguayan lifestyle; how did you love Silvia, her family, her friends, her country and how did you adapt them right away. Doug, it was so sad in my first day in First Gulf you were not there. It was so sad I reviewed your estimates and notes without your instruction. I worked with Doug for many years at Internorth Construction and admired his hard work, his skill,his honesty, and his friendship.
We, and the other estimators, had many Friday lunches and quite a few golf games over the years (yes, he was better than me).
