Eric William Barnett

August 22nd, 1934 - May 24th, 2017

Predeceased by his loving wife, Joan Barnett and his son Greg Barnett. Leaving behind daughters, Karen Barnett (Malcolm Cook) and Stephanie Fraser. Grandchildren, Taylor Pastusiak, Brittny Spearing (Michael), Hunter-Lynn Cook, Tanya Fraser and Elizabeth Fraser. Great grandchildren, Natalie, Andrea, Ethan, Ciera and Arianna. Brother of Chuck, John, Sue, Anne and the late George, Ricky, Christine and Mary. Will be sadly missed by family members from far and near.

Eric was a man of little needs and just went with the flow. He had a very big heart, and all those that came into contact with him wanted to be part of his life. He worked for over 23 years with Hickson Langs until his retirement. He loved travelling the world with his beloved Joan. He also had a passion for sports especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. He was very vocal while watching the games with the intention that his coaching would be heard. He loved bowling, golf, billiards and darts where he would share the highlights of those special times. He had an extraordinary love for his pets, even when he would grumble about them. To him they were about unconditional love.
