Peacefully passed away at the Brampton Civic hospital on Friday, July15, 2022 at the age of 88 with family members at her side. Frances will be missed by her loving husband Francis (Frank), son Robert (Kelly), son John (Karen and son Liam), and sisters Georgina, Margaret and Elis.
Reunited in Heaven with her parents Robert and Mary McGarvey, sisters Jean and Mary Theresa, brothers Eamon and Robert, and daughter-in-law Bridget.
Frances came to Canada in 1957, eventually settling in Brampton, Ontario. She was employed as a journey-woman bookbinder for over 30 years.
She loved her family very much, and also had great love for all animals, donating to charities from around the world including the World Wild Life Fund. In memory of Frances Elizabeth McGonigal, donations in her name may be made to the World Wild Life Fund or your local animal shelter.
A private, immediate family moment will be held with Frances prior to her cremation.
