Gary was surrounded by his family when he passed peacefully.
Leaving to mourn are his sisters, Rhonda (Eric), Maxine (Wade), niece Leslie, nephew Stephen, great nieces; Bella, Felice, Emily & Claire, aunt Rose, uncle Bryan Grills, uncle Wilson Beck and a large circle of cousins and friends.
A special thank you to Steven Grills, his cousin who has done so much for him in the past while and has been at his beckon call. Even if it’s getting a phone call at 1am, to help take off his socks.
He is predeceased by his parents Rupert and Bertha, his brother Frank (Della) and his niece Jessie Maria and many aunts and uncles, also both sets of grandparents.
Gary has his favorite pub to go to here in Brampton, called “The Kaos”, where he had a great time with his friends.
For many, many years he loved his bowling, he sure was one great bowler. We used to talk back and forth about who had the best average. I did of course.
If anybody knew Gary, they would know that he was one great photographer. He took some of the most beautiful shots with camera. Wherever he went, his camera went with him.
Cremation has taken place as per Gary’s wishes. A service of life will take place at a later date in his hometown, St. Lawrence, NL.
