Boamah aged 37 of Keswick, Ontario, Canada; Law Student of Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Ontario; former Trade Commissioner with Global Affairs Canada, Graduate of Carleton University (Ottawa), former student of Queens College and The Wesley Hall Boys School passed suddenly at his home in Canada on December 28th 2016.
Beloved Son of Dr. Daniel Boamah, (Retired Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados) and Mrs. Juliana Boamah (Retired teacher of Belleville Grammar, Ellerslie Secondary, Louis Lynch Secondary and Garrison Secondary Schools); Treasured brother of Valerie Hope (Head of Marketing & Communication, Nation Group of Companies) . Loving uncle of Kyei and Adai Hope (St. Angela’s Primary) and many others. Respected Brother-in-Law of Jomo Hope (Artemis Law Chambers). Cherished Godson of Kwadwo and Evelyn Gyasi-Nimako (Canada). The funeral of the late Gerald Boamah leaves the Tranquility Chapel of Two Sons Funeral Home, Stadium Road, Bush Hall, St. Michael on Friday 20th January 2017 at 11:15 am for Our Lady Queen of the Universe Roman Catholic Church, Black Rock, St. Michael; where relatives and friends are asked to meet for A Service of Thanksgiving at 1 pm. Tributes will commence at 12.15pm. No mourning colours requested. The Cortege will then proceed to the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the Interment. The Organist and Members of the Choir are kindly asked to attend. Floral arrangements can be sent to the Tranquillity Chapel of Two Sons Funeral Home no later than 11.00 am. Viewing of Gerald Boamah will take place in the Tranquility Chapel on Thursday 19th January 2017 from 4 pm until 6 pm.
