Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family Monday, September 10, 2007 in Brampton at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Joyce for almost 62 wonderful years. Loving dad of Ian (Irene), Gilbert Jr., Madeleine (Don), Melody (Bill) and Lynn (Nick). Cherished grandpa of Andrew, Tina (Lou), Heather, Cheryl (Dave), Timothy, Jennifer, Samantha, Anthy, Amanda and Brady. Dear great grandpa of Taylor. Ginger will be sadly missed by his brothers Doug (Cynthia), Bert and Jack (Linley) and sister-in-law Una and their families. Predeceased by his brother Donny. He will also be missed by his other family members and friends. Friends will be received at ANDREWS COMMUNITY FUNERAL CENTRE 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190 on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
