It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina Stephanie Nichol, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 62. Gina was born in Hamilton on October 24, 1963.
Gina was predeceased by her beloved mother, Hermina VanHees, and father, Louis VanHees.
Gina was a loving mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. Family was at the heart of Gina’s life, and she treasured time together, whether gathered for special celebrations or simply enjoying the everyday moments that made life meaningful. She adored her granddaughters more than anything in this world and cherished every moment spent watching them grow.
She leaves behind her loving partner, Tim Marshall; daughter Becky and granddaughter Kynzleigh; daughter Melissa (Ian) and granddaughters Olivia and Charlotte; as well as her beloved dogs, Louie, Winston, and Emma.
Gina’s love for her family, her devotion to her granddaughters, and the memories she created with those closest to her will remain forever in their hearts.
She was gone too soon, but she is now at peace.
Her absence will be deeply felt in the quiet moments, family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday things that will never quite feel the same without her.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
