After a courageous journey and two years in long-term care, our beautiful mother passed away on October 16, 2026. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Johann, she is now reunited with him, and other loved ones who passed before her. A loving, kind, and devoted mother, she always put her family first. She enjoyed the simple things in life and had many talents. Her kindness, love, and devotion to her family will always be remembered, along with the many special memories we will hold close to our hearts. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with Dad.
She leaves behind her loving children, Ulricke (Huw), Wolfgang (Deborah), Anton (Susan), Barbara (Heath), Susanna (Derek), and Robert (Sheila). She was a proud and loving Oma to Crystal, Kathryn, Matthew, Neil, Mitchell, Andrew, Nicole, Ethan, Shane, Kayla, Erich, and Emily, and a Great Oma to Damon, Meliyah, Alexander, Max, and Liam.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Boston Mills Cemetery Charity, and the Jacob Winterton Osteosarcoma Foundation.
