Dear Wanda,
I am lost for words, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing this message.  Nothing about loss is easy, especially to a wonderful man like John.   Our last conversation was of John guiding me in operation the Fido system as we shared our opinions of it.  Over the years since I've met John, this was how well he had always treated me, always very helpful and always said hi.  He will be dearly missed.

David, you would be missed beyond words.  Still can't believe you are gone.  I will miss the banter with you and now all we have are the memories that our friendship have created.  May your soul be at rest and at peace.  

To your mom Mama Rose and your sister Wanda, we keep you in our thoughts and prayers,  We pray that you find comfort and solace when all the funeral and good byes are done, by remembering all the good memories that you shared with David.  

Our family, however far we may be will always be there for you both.  I still can't get over the passing of this kind soul.  Heaven needed another angel.

I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear of John's passing. I'll never forget how he was always able to give me a chuckle at work. We've sadly lost sombody that was able to light up the room. My condolences to Wanda and family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of John . I had the privilege of working with him.  He was such an amazing person.

I don't remember exactly the year we met as it's been a while, but I know we ran into each other in an online chat group when I was still living in Cranbrook, so that is well over 25 years ago.
He always had a kind word to say about people and whenever my travels took me to Toronto, or he came out to Calgary we always made time to at least get together to chat for a bit. 
Once I moved further west those visits stopped but we always knew we could message if/when needed.
The love and support he felt when his dad died meant the world to him and I hope his mom and sister feel the same support during this time.

It is hard to put into words what John meant. I know he will be missed deeply.  I will miss talking to him, and seeing his face.  He is one of the few people at work that I would call friend. There's not another person quite like John. Rest my friend!

It was a privilege knowing and working with John. His boundless energy, wonderful sense of humor, and unwavering commitment to delivery were truly admirable. I'll miss our conversations about golf and hearing about the various courses he visited. Rest in peace, dear friend. 
Wanda, may God bless you and your family with strength and courage during this difficult time as you face this tremendous loss.

David will always be remembered as a gentle soul with a warm heart. He had a way of making people feel valued, welcomed, and cared for. His kindness, laughter, and spirit touched so many lives, and those memories will continue to live on in all of us. Though he is no longer here, the love he gave and the light he shared will never fade. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.

It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who’s been part of your life for over 30 years. Dave wasn’t just a friend… he was part of my inner circle, one of the few people I truly trusted. He was a confidant, a sounding board, a fellow golfer, and a partner-in-crime during our party years. And as life evolved… when I found my life partner, settled down, and ‘matured’… Dave was still there. Steady. Present.

We shared cottages, stories, and more than a few beverages. We laughed a lot. We leaned on each other. And through all of it, Dave was my friend. The kind of friend who doesn’t come around often. The kind you hold onto. Losing him leaves a space that can’t be filled. But I choose to celebrate the life he lived, the joy he brought, the loyalty he showed, and the memories we made. I’ll carry those with me always.

Rest easy, Dave. You were one of the good ones.

I'm saddened by the passing of John. He was such a good guy; hard working, funny, opioniated; we shared many jokes and good conversations. He will be greatly missed. A good friend, quick with a laugh, always glad to see you, even if it had been over a year. And in my case, quick to to tell me that I was behaving like a dolt, followed by more laughter. He is sadly missed.

He was always such a funny person to be around and had a very unique energy. So shocked to hear about his sudden passing after working so closely with him for the past 4 years; I'm hoping he's in a better place now.

​I am still heartbroken knowing John has passed. I always enjoyed our conversations about trip ideas. He was a good person, and I'll always remember him standing up for what he believed in.
