It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Karen Anne-Marie Sears (nee Rickson) on July 7, 2022, at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Wilson and Irene Rickson and brother Adrian as well as mother and father-in law Druscilla and Wilfred Sears, brothers-in-law Peter (Salima), Walter (Hafeezan) and sister-in-law Rita (Horatio).
Karen will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her husband of 45 years Roy, her son Jason as well as daughters Marisa (Dave) and Christine (Marlon). She will always remain the heart of her grandson Isaiah. Beloved sister of Terry (Judy) and sister-in-law to Valerie (Louis), Errol (Maylene), Wilfred (Bernadette), Andrew (Margaret), Allan (Margaret) and Eugene (Laura). Karen will live on in the memory of her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Friends and family will be received at Andrews Community Funeral Centre - Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON L6T 5N9, 905-456-8190 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 940 North Park Drive, Brampton, ON L6S 3L5 on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton ON L7A 0H6.
