Lou Greco, 68 of Brampton, Ontario unexpectedly passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home. Lou was born January 3, 1953 in Mendicino, Cosenza, Italy. Cherished husband of Kathie Greco for 40 wonderful years. Loving father of Adrian Greco (Larissa), Brian Greco (Ashley), Jackie Watson (Kevin) and his pups Oscar and Luna. Lou was a proud pappa to Adam Greco, Emma Watson, Carter Greco and Erin Watson. Little brother to sisters Clelia Greco (Fred) and Anna Zuccon (Ennio) that will miss him dearly. Brother in-law to David Ross (Shirley) and Patty Worsley and the late Gabriele DiCintio. Adored uncle to Terrie Dinopoulos (John), Michael Zuccon (Jacqueline), Mark Zuccon (Jennifer), Nicole Worsley (Mike) and great uncle to Andrew, Lauren, Theodore and Hugo. Lou will be reunited with his parents Mariano and Giovannina Greco in heaven. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends.

Lou loved being outside. He was an avid walker as part of his daily routine with his dogs Oscar and Luna. He also enjoyed cycling as it was a way to keep his average step count high. He was very determined to average 19,000 steps a day.

During retirement Lou spent many summer hours on the golf course with his golf friends and his family. Golf was his passion away from home. He was equally as passionate about his family and friends. Always able to cook up a feast and mix cocktails at the same time. Lou became well known for his famous deep-fried turkey and could mix martinis and caesars with the best of them.

Family events were Lou’s moments to shine. As one part of a trio of chefs extraordinaire they would orchestrate and coordinate family feasts, a tradition passed down from generations. Once the meals were finished, he’d be ready to jump into the traditional family debate that would go for hours.

Lou will be remembered for his devotion to family, strong willed nature, passion for cooking, warm personality and his love of golf.

Lou, we miss you and love you very much.

Private arrangements will be made with the family.

To Kathie and family,
It was with great sadness to hear of Lou's passing. He was such an amazing friend. Even after a few years apart, when we got together, it's was always like old times. The memories of Lou are of me mostly laughing because of what Lou did or said. Like telling me what went wrong with the shot he just took while I was in my backswing.
Lou and I went to high school together, baseball teams and he was an awesome hardball pitcher, first ever Humber College basketball team and many nights out in our younger years.
He was just an awesome friend.
You will be missed Lou.

To get along with your neighbours is lucky. To have your neighbours become friends is rare. To have neighbours that feel more like family, that is truly a blessing. That is exactly what Lou and his family are to us. We have spent decades laughing together, sharing our lives with each other and watching our children grow into the wonderful people they are now.
Over the years, Lou has always been the type of man we could count on to help when there was a problem with the house. He never failed to make time to chat whenever we saw one another and let's not forget the delicious food he fed us when he was in chef-mode!
Lou was a blessing in our lives and we will miss him always but carry him forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Lou.
With love,
Marjorie, Jordan and family.

Although life has taken us down different roads, I will always remember and cherish our times together. Through Highschool and beyond. Times playing basketball ( The Sting ), golfing and waiting forever for you to putt out. Playing Baseball with Chuggers and just hanging out sharing laughs. You were a special friend and will always hold a special part of my life. Our thoughts and prayers to Kathie and family. Ed and Renee.
