Margaret Georgina Convery

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Georgina Convery, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and mother-in-law, who passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2025, at the age of 80 surrounded by her family.

Born on October 27th, 1944, in Glasgow, Scotland. Margaret lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and devotion to those she loved. She married William Convery in 1966, and together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, strength and love.

Margaret had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and her unwavering support and wisdom shaped the lives of all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish the countless memories and love she brought to all of us.

She is survived by her loving children Paul and Shonagh (Darryl) and, her cherished grandchildren PJ, Hope and Kayden, and sister Janet, her nephew George, daughter-in-law Deb, and extended family and friends from Canada and Scotland all of whom adored her. She was preceded in death by her husband William Convery.

A visitation for Margaret will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4pm-8pm, at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, Brampton, Ontario.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18th at Andrews Community Funeral Centre-Bramalea Chapel at 3:00pm, followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to Bethell Hospice—a cause close to her heart.

Her love, laughter, and quiet strength will continue to guide us every day. Though she has left our sight, she will never leave our hearts.
