Norm peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 81st year.
He was born in Roeselare, Belgium he came to Canada following his time in the Belgian Army. He retired from Air Canada after 29 years in the cargo freight crew. He had a passion for painting, and proudly filled his home with all his works of art.
Brother to Noel deceased (Laura), Nelly (Ralph Satyrfyre deceased), Chris (Jim Yetman deceased), Annie (Nesmi Ndreu), Mo (Sandra) Joe (Giselle).
Loving father to Cynthia (Rob), Ken (Roe) from his first marriage to Erica Geldhof. And grandfather to Grace, Ryan, Joshuah, David, Emile, Avienda
Norm was the loving husband to Elizabeth Bertasson, with whom he spent the last 30 years with. Norm was proud to be called Dad by Bettys daughters Linda (Doug) Nancy (Ange) and son Steve (Charlene) he will be forever loved as Grampa Norm by Cheryl, Lindsay, Sean, Chelsea, Cole and Carly. And thrilled to be Great Grampa to Hawksley and Violette.
