Passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with family by her side in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 79. Cherished mother to Tim (Sandy) and Greg (Patty). Loving grandmother to Jessica, Maddelyn and Evan. Predeceased by her sister Margaret. Survived by her sister Marion.
Susan was born on September 7, 1944 to Vincent and Edna Nixon in Chapleau, Ontario.
Susan’s many interests/hobbies included reading, pets, nature, Toronto Blue Jays, Coronation Street, crossword puzzles and socializing with friends and family. She was always the backbone of our family and always put her children first. Susan will be sadly and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family invites relatives and friends to share their memories of Susan during visitation, held at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 11am-1pm. Funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1pm, following the visitation.
