

Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather.
Ted passed away unexpectedly, but very peacefully from complications during a long battle with prostate cancer. Much loved and loving father of David, Heather and Allan (Teresa). Grandfather of David, James, Becky (Jared), and Richard. Great-grandfather to Nicholas. Loved brother of Anne, and John (Adrienne). Predeceased by his wife of 33 years Pat (1996) and his parents (Thomas 1979 and Norah 2008). He will be missed by his dog Bull.
Educated at Portora Royal School Enniskillen Ireland & Trinity College Dublin. Devoted to his love of rowing. He rowed his beloved crew to first place in the Royal Henley Regatta in London (England) in the late 1950s. Dad was a well respected Professional Engineer who was a long term employee of Robert McAlpine Ltd. (Vice President). In later years, he also worked as a consultant for Revay & Associates.
Two people will receive the gift of sight from Dad. Be an organ donor!
A special thank-you to Gina and Bruce. Their friendship was greatly valued by Dad, and also for all of their help over the years. Thank-you to all of the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook Hospital (Oncology) and Brampton Civic Hospital for their care and compassion over the years. And finally, thank-you to the Peel Paramedics and Brampton Firefighters for the excellent care provided to our Dad. Cremation to occur prior to a Celebration of Life at 1 pm on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Andrews Community Funeral Centre 8190 Dixie Rd. in Brampton 905-456-8190.
