On the afternoon of Sunday April 3, 2022, Warren peacefully passed with his family by his side. Warren was dearly loved and supported by his family, extended family and many friends.
Warren Simpson was born in Sarnia, Ontario on March 13, 1943 and later resided in Brampton for the past 56 years.
Warren was a very talented woodworker and produced many beautiful works of art.
At a young age, Warren learned and enjoyed flying, and earned his wings with the Air Cadets in London.
Warren was an enthusiastic beloved volunteer with Friends and Advocates, an adult mental health organization. Warren spent a large part of his career as a Lab Technician for Domtar, later Canada Brick and Hansen Brick.
Once he retired, Warren enjoyed working part time with is elder son, Gord, at Davis Skill Games and Playdium.
Warren enjoyed his gardening, loved growing tomatoes and picking berries in the summer during the raspberry season.
Warren leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Marian, son Gord (Fenella), son Brent (Stacy), three wonderful grandchildren Kurt, Logan and Lacy, and nieces and nephews who adored him.
Predeceased by parents Warren and Irene Simpson and sister Brenda Strain.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, or to Emmanuel United Church.
Friends and Family will be welcomed on Thursday. April 14, 2022 between 4:00pm
until 7:00pm for visitation at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road Brampton, L6T 5N9
Friends and Family are welcomed on Sat. April 16, 2022 at 1:00pm for the service for Warren Simpson at Emmanuel United Church, 420 Balmoral Dr, Brampton, ON L6T 1V9.
