My heart is broken to hear of the loss of such a wonderful young girl. I was fortunate to be Zaniyah’s Grade 5 teacher, and she was truly a bright light in our classroom. The memories I have of her in my classroom will stay with me forever, especially the recess times when Zaniyah and her friends would often stay in to catch up on work, help out with different classroom tasks, or simply just to draw, chat, and sing together. Those moments reflect the joy, kindness, and warmth she brought to our classroom each day. 

Zaniyah was beautiful inside and out, and I truly loved being her teacher. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. May God surround you with comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.

It has been an absolute privilege to have Zaniyah as part of our Brampton School of Music family. She was such an amazing and talented student, and we feel truly fortunate to have been part of her musical journey. We were especially happy to have her share her talents with us at our recent summer recital. It was a joy to see her perform, and that special memory will always hold a place in our hearts.     

Zaniyah will be remembered not only for her musical talent but also for the special place she held within our school community. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to teach her and be part of her journey.     Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My sweet niyah banana. I remember the last time you went home, you are always by my side hehe. One time we went out and Tito Raprap is calling me again and again while I am driving, So you answered him and said “Hello tito! you are so makulit tita is driving” and you dropped the call. hahaha. I miss you everyday, my niyah banana. Tita loves you always!

It’s hard to put into words the pain of losing a friend  like Zaniyah. Z, you will be deeply missed and forever remembered. It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Zaniyah, whom I taught in Grade 4. I will always remember her kind heart, bright smile, and the joy she brought to our classroom. She was a special student who will be greatly missed.

We really need this prayer right now Zaniyah. I'm still in shocked and devastated but hearing your prayer ease the pain. We will surely miss you. You are now in a better place. We love you.

We took this photo of you so we could do that one trend, it was so cool and you looked so nice with Sua as the background. Sua was your favorite character of alnst, and everytime we saw her on our tiktok fyp you would always scream or yell "Sua!! sua!!" it was pretty funny.

We also took this photo and you called it your "Boyfriend" it was pretty funny so we took some photos of you in it.

Later on, most of us decided to go home but keighren and keziah decided to stay back and find more clothes for school. Scarlett forgot her water bottle with Keziah and Scarlett went back to old navy and me, Kimberly, and Zaniyah came along.  we all took some funny photos  of her and this reminded me of that one photo of the minion on the wall and on a hover board.

I still remember when we went to the mall and did all those fun things together. When we ate at the food court, we decided to go to the washroom after and took this photo together as a memory. You looked so cute in this photo and I loved it.

On the last day of 4th/3rd Grade, I took pictures with everyone I thought I would miss over the summer. We were walking down the halls, I caught up to you and quickly said, “Hey, look!” While getting ready for you to pose to take a picture. Your smile will never be forgotten. LLD/LLZ 🕊️💗

I remember when you sent this photo in a group chat, and I said that you looked like Momo. We were both laughing so hard. We will all miss your funny faces. LLD/LLZ 🕊️💗

On Saturday, October 24th - Zaniyah, McKaylah, and I went to Canada’s Wonderland to enjoy our time at the Haunt Fest. We went to all the scare zones and went on a few different rollercoasters. Together, we laughed, screamed and made memories. We will forever miss you Zani. LLD/LLZ💗🪽
