Anne Fuller Mott-Smith passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 28, 2025 at her home in Seffner Florida. Anne was born August 31, 1930, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Nellie Agnes Perrow and James Marshall Fuller. She was the middle sister of Katie and Julia. She attended Morris Harvey College in West VA. Anne married the late Tipton Pryor Mott-Smith in 1951 after his graduation from the US Naval Academy. She became an Air Force wife when her husband took a commission in the USAF as a 2nd Lieutenant. As the wife of a pilot, she and Tip were frequently transferred to bases around the country. They started their family in Topeka, Kansas with the birth of their daughter Linda, followed by a son, Marshall, who was born at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. Her earliest experiences as a mother were a challenge as Tipton was deployed during the Korean War. She completed their family with the births of Laura and Ernest at Edward’s AFB in California. Anne was a gourmet cook, excellent hostess and had a keen eye for interior decorating. She was an avid collector of antiques and used her knowledge in her work at an antique shop in Brandon, Florida. She balanced all of this with her priorities of being good wife and mother. After the passing of her husband in 1995, she moved to Florida to be closer to family. She is remembered by her family and friends as caring, thoughtful, and generous. She is survived by her four children, Linda Mott-Smith, Marshall Mott-Smith (Lark), Laura Tuttle (Ricky), Ernest Mott-Smith (Toni), nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. There will be a graveside service where she will rest beside her husband, Tipton, at Arlington National Cemetery.
