Gifford, Arthur Roy, 72, went to be with the Lord June 25, 2015. Born in Bridgeport, WV, Roy proudly served in the United States Air Force. Retiring after working 30yrs for the State of Florida Department of Highway Safety, he was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Tallahassee where he was a Deacon and involved in the Youth Ministry before moving to the Brandon area and becoming a member of the First Baptist Church Brandon. Roy loved spending time with his family, enjoyed fishing, his membership in the Elks Club and his service in youth ministry driving the youth church bus. Survived by his beloved wife Nancy of 50 years, his loving children Beth Calzon (Manny), David (Kim) and his cherished grandchildren Maddie, Maysie, Morgan, Grant, Cade and Gracie, he will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Sunday June 28th 2-3pm with services beginning at 3pm at First Baptist Church, 216 N. Parsons Ave., Brandon.
