Ashley Lynn Sams went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2020 after complications from a stroke. She was born on August 11, 1983 in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Ashley grew up in Southern Pines, North Carolina. She moved with the family to Tampa where she graduated from Durant High School and went on to attend USF. She pursued a career in Child Care and was loved by all her students. Ashley was a happy person that always put others first and herself last. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Ashley is survived by her parents, Lynn and Ric; sister, Tracey; brother, Brett; and several extended family members. A celebration of Ashley's life will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ashley's name to A Kids Place of Tampa Bay, in honor of her dedication to children.
