Dolores Jennifer Jaimungal

Following a private family farewell, the Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday 16th May 2025 at The Presbyterian Church of Seffner with Pastor Loli Reiter of Presbyterian Church of Seffner, officiating.

Dolores was born in Marabella, Trinidad to Aaron Joseph Boodoo and Rosabelle Adharsingh on Wednesday 19th July 1944. She was the fourth of eight siblings, then with her father’s remarriage, she welcomed four more siblings. Dolores attended schools in Marabella and Riversdale. She married Partap Jaimungal on Sunday 8th August 1965. Dolores remained a homemaker to her three children while she resided in Trinidad. When she moved to New York, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Maria Regina Convent. During the thirty years she lived in New York, she was an elder and active member of the Brentwood Presbyterian Church under Pastor Kennedy McGowan then Pastor Ida Rosario. When Dolores moved to Florida, she immediately became a member of The Presbyterian Church of Seffner and even joined the choir.

Dolores is preceded in death by her son Joseph Davanand “Dave” Jaimungal, and grandson Christian Nathan Jaimungal; sisters and brothers- Evangeline, Edward, Lincoln, Diana, Peter, Christine, and Frankie.

Dolores is survived by Partap Jaimungal; her daughters Susan Angela Jaimungal-Paynter and SherryAnn Allison Paynter; grandsons Michael Edward Paynter and Edward John Paynter; brothers Amos Boodoo and Alexander Boodoo; and sisters Margaret Christo and Esther Sooknanan.

Memorials and contributions (in lieu of flowers) may be given to The Presbyterian Church of Seffner.

The family of Jaimungal/Paynter wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Pastor Loli for being with them during Dolores’ last moments, Dr. Sambataro, Dr. Muhammed, Dr Soler and staff, Nurses Andy and Valeria, and the rest of the team involved in making Dolores’ transition as peaceful as could be.

In addition, the family of Dolores wishes to thank all those who telephoned, sent cards or assisted in any way in their time of bereavement. God bless you all.
