Doug Butler, 78 of Hernando, FL died December 22, 2014 at Hospice House, Lecanto, FL. He was born in Murdock, FL. For 43 years he lived with his family in Brandon, FL. He was employed by IMC for 32 years at Port Sutton, Tampa, FL as a Shift Supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Marjory Butler, daughters Lisa Janecek, Homosassa, FL and Linda Hill, Sinking Spring, PA, one Grandson and two Granddaughters. He was an avid photographer and especially loved to photograph birds and flowers. He was a lifelong hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed the beauty and solitude of the woods and camaraderie of his friends. Doug loved sports and never missed watching Tampa Bay Rays games. Services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 1:00PM with services to follow.
