Edward Dean Hurley, 50, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, April 25, 2014. Born December 14, 1963 in Tampa, FL, he resided in Punta Gorda, FL. Eddy was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a journeyman electrician and was expanding his knowledge of air conditioning. Eddy was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He also was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Hurley, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Maryfrances Young Bryant of Franklin, NC; two brothers, William Ray (Ellie) Hurley of Lutz, FL and Keith (Shelly) Hurley of Safety Harbor, FL; daughters, Jessica Hurley of N. Ft. Myers, FL, Priscilla (Anthony) Danielson, MS., Deanna Hurley; son, Edward Jr., of FL; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah and Nova of N. Ft. Myers and Abigal of MS; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1st from 10-11am with a service starting at 11am at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, with interment immediately following services.
