Elaine Díaz, 89, passed away Sunday, October 12th in Lakeland, Florida. Devoted wife to the late Edward Díaz, Jr., she is survived by her five children - Kimberly (Wesley) Wurth, Paula (Vince) Scoggins, Melissa (Keith) Kreuscher, Eric Díaz, and Melinda (David) Kendrick. Elaine also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and her sisters Connie Waugh and Delores Worcester. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Grove and Larry Atkins.
A visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on October 18, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow.
