He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Maida Rodriguez Delgado. Elio also leaves two children, Edward Louis Delgado and Madelyn Delgado Pitre; three grandchildren, Joshua Pitre, Mason Delgado and Matthew Pitre.
His family and close friends will miss him dearly. We find comfort in knowing he is resting from a long, hard, fought fight. Those who knew him well, will forever smile at the joy he brought to our lives. “Salute.”
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2026, from 11:00 am at the same venue.
The committal service will follow on January 5, 2026, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, also located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
